In Jan-2014 DMMS started as a little plant of Nursing Institute and with ephemeral time it became a giant tree in the field of health care, and now this tree has given parturition to a new seed named MCI screening test. DMMS is the first institute of Rajasthan which took the initiative in this section of Health-care field. After the huge success in the Nursing & Medical section, DMMS is walking towards a new commencement of MCI.
Medical Council of India Screening Test, also recognized as Foreign Medical Graduates Examination (FMGE), is a licensure examination organised by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) in India. The test is one of the obligatory requirements for an Indian citizen who has a medical degree from a college outside India to exercise medicine in the country. The screening test was commenced in 2002 as a qualifying examination for Indian students obtaining their medicinal/medical degrees from countries other than India, such as nations belonging to the former Soviet Union, Eastern European countries, China, Nepal, Philippines, and Caribbean nations. Indian doctors holding essential medical degrees from any nation have to take the MCI screening test. The Medical School should have listed/mentioned in the WHO international directory of Medical Schools. This MCI screening examination is held twice in a year- in June and December, on the 3rd Monday and Tuesday of the month.
